Odd and Misunderstood

Apparently Google Maps is blurring out images of sensitive location, such as the 2 locations in the link above (one is a nuclear research facility on a university campus in the States, and the other is a power plant in Massachusetts.

Thoughts? Why should they blur it out? Are they that worried about terrorists tracking these locations, and using google maps to attack them? C’mon, let’s get serious here.
